# Add cover page

`POST /v3/projects/{projectId}/services/{id}/coverPages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://fax.api.sinch.com`
- URL: `https://fax.api.sinch.com/v3/projects/{projectId}/services/{id}/coverPages`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://auth.sinch.com/oauth2/token`

Add a cover page to your service

## Request body

- CoverPage: Information regarding a cover page.
  - `id` string, ulid: ID of the cover page
  - `name` string, required: The friendly name of the cover page.
  - `projectId` string: The `Id` of the project associated with the call.
  - `serviceId` string: ID of the fax service used.
  - `createdTime` string, date-time: The date and time the cover page was created.
  - `updatedTime` string, date-time: The date and time the cover page was updated.
  - `createdAt` string, date-time: The timestamp on which the cover page was created.
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time: The timestamp on which the cover page was updated.
  - `file` object, required: A PDF Cover encoded as base64
    - `fileContent` string, base64, required: A PDF Cover encoded as base64
    - `fileType` 'PDF', required: For now only PDF is supported.

## Response `200`

The added  coverpage, or an [Error](https://developers.sinch.com/docs/fax/api-reference/fax/error-messages)
