# Delete the CAD

`DELETE /projects/{projectId}/cads/{cadId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.simscale.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.simscale.com/v1/projects/{projectId}/cads/{cadId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

The CAD is deleted with all its states. Mesh operations and simulations that use it are not deleted.

## Response `204`

Successful deletion of the CAD

## Other responses

- `403`: Insufficient Permissions
- `404`: Not found.
- `409`: Conflict
