# PM · Tasks · Add or remove file attachments on a task

`POST /api/v1/pm/tasks/{task_id}/attachment`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.simplified.com`
- URL: `https://api.simplified.com/api/v1/pm/tasks/{task_id}/attachment`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Add or remove file attachments on a task. Attachments are addressed by
attachment UUID (get IDs from `getTask?expand=attachments`).
Body: `{"add": ["<attachment_id>", ...], "remove": ["<attachment_id>", ...]}`.
Either key may be omitted. Returns the updated attachment list.

- AddRemoveAttachments: Shared shape for attachment mutation endpoints. `add` entries are attachment objects (see attachment app); `remove` entries are attachment IDs.
