# PM · Tasks · Add or remove assignees on a task (by integer user ID)

`POST /api/v1/pm/tasks/{task_id}/assignees`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.simplified.com`
- URL: `https://api.simplified.com/api/v1/pm/tasks/{task_id}/assignees`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Add or remove users assigned to a task using integer user IDs.
Use `listWorkspaceMembers` to look up user IDs before calling this.

Body: `{"add": [<user_id>, ...], "remove": [<user_id>, ...]}`
Either key may be omitted.

Returns `{}` on success (no body — by design).
To verify or read current assignees: `getTask?expand=assignees`.

Note: ES index updates async (~5s lag) — `searchTasks?assignees=<id>`
may not reflect a new assignment immediately.

- AddRemoveIntArrays: Shared shape for "add/remove list of integer IDs" endpoints (e.g. task assignees).
  - `add` integer[]: IDs to add.
  - `remove` integer[]: IDs to remove.

Assignees updated (empty body).
