# PM · Boards · Soft-delete a board and queue task cleanup (irreversible)

`DELETE /api/v1/pm/boards/{board_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.simplified.com`
- URL: `https://api.simplified.com/api/v1/pm/boards/{board_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Soft-delete a board. All tasks and statuses are cleaned up asynchronously.
Use `cloneBoard` first if you want a backup. This action is not reversible via the API.
