# Triggers · Fire a trigger now

`POST /api/v1/triggers/{trigger_id}/run`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://kd-agents.simplified.com`
- URL: `https://kd-agents.simplified.com/api/v1/triggers/{trigger_id}/run`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Fires a trigger once, now, without waiting for its schedule.

Returns as soon as the run is queued — it does not wait for the agent to
finish, so a pending result here is expected rather than a failure.

## Response `202`

Queued, as `{task_id, trigger_id, status}`.
