# Create Processor Token

`POST /processorTokens`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://eu-west-1.api.silverflow.com/v1`
- URL: `https://eu-west-1.api.silverflow.com/v1/processorTokens`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/silverflow/apis/silverflow-api/docs/processorTokens/post.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

This operation safely stores a PAN, and returns a proprietary representation of it in the form of a processorTokenKey.

Requires the `processorTokens:Create` permission.

## Request body

- CreateProcessorTokenRequest: The request body to create a processor token entity.
  - `reference` string: User-specific reference for the card.
  - `cardData` CardData, required: The card data required to tokenize.
    - `number` string, password, required: Full digits of a card
    - `expiryMonth` integer, required: The month the card expires. January is 1.
    - `expiryYear` integer, required: The year the card expires including the century.
    - `cvc` string: The CVC of the card.
    - `holderName` string: The name of the cardholder.

## Response `201`

The created Processor Token entity.

- PublicProcessorTokenObject: A Processor Token object.
  - `key` string, required: Uniquely identifies a processor token entity.
  - `agentKey` string, required: Uniquely identifies an Agent
  - `last4` string, required: last 4 digits of the card
  - `status` 'active' | 'archived', required: The status of the card.
  - `reference` string: User-specific reference for the card.
  - `cardInfo` object[], required
    - `infoSource` string, required: The source of the card information.
    - `network` string, required: The network of the card.
    - `primaryNetwork` boolean, required: The primary card network issuing this card range.
  - `created` string, date-time, required: The date and time this object was created
  - `cvcPresent` boolean, required: Specifies whether the Card Verification Code (CVC) is stored within our system
  - `lastActionDate` string, date-time: The date and time this card was last used.
  - `lastModified` string, date-time: The date and time this object was last modified
  - `version` integer, required: The version of this object

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Authentication information is missing or invalid
- `403`: The authenticated client is forbidden to make the request for the resource identified.
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: The server was unable to process the request.
- `429`: The number of requests (per minute) has exceeded the configured maximum
- `500`: The server encountered an unexpected condition. This may or may not be a temporary situation.
- `503`: The server was unable to process the request. This is a temporary condition. Please retry the request.
