# Create Network Token

`POST /networkTokens`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://eu-west-1.api.silverflow.com/v1`
- URL: `https://eu-west-1.api.silverflow.com/v1/networkTokens`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/silverflow/apis/silverflow-api/docs/networkTokens/post.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

Used to let Silverflow create a network token on behalf of the caller.

Requires the `networkTokens:Create` permission.

## Request body

- TokenCreate: Fields used to create a token.
  - `enrollmentKey` string, required: SCOF or VTS enrollment key
  - `type` 'merchant', required: The type of network token.
  - `cardData` OpenapiComponentsSchemasCardInput, required: The PAN data required to create a network token
    - `number` string, password, required: Full digits of a card
    - `expiryMonth` integer, required: The month the card expires. January is 1
    - `expiryYear` integer, required: The year the card expires including the century
    - `cvc` string: The CVC of the card
    - `holder` CardHolderInput: Information about the card holder.
      - `name` string: The name of the cardholder.
      - `email` string: A valid email address
      - `phoneNumber` string: An international phone number
      - `billingAddress` ComponentsSchemasAddressInput: A physical postal address
        - `countryCode` union, required
          - OpenapiComponentsSchemasCountryCodeAlpha3
            - `alpha3` OpenapiComponentsSchemasCountryCodeAlpha3, required (recursive)
          - OpenapiComponentsSchemasCountryCodeAlpha2
            - `alpha2` OpenapiComponentsSchemasCountryCodeAlpha2, required (recursive)
          - OpenapiComponentsSchemasCountryCodeNumeric
            - `numeric` OpenapiComponentsSchemasCountryCodeNumeric, required (recursive)
        - `stateOrProvince` string: The state (US) or province (non-US) of the address.
        - `city` string, required: The city of the address.
        - `line1` string, required: Address line 1
        - `line2` string: Address line 2
        - `postalCode` string, required: The postal code of the address without any spaces.

## Response `200`

The network token entity that matches the enrollment key and the given PAN.

  - `key` string, required: Uniquely identifies a network token managed by Silverflow.
  - `status` 'requested' | 'active' | 'suspended' | 'failed' | 'archivePending' | 'archived', required: The status of the network token.
  - `type` 'merchant', required: The type of network token.
  - `network` 'mastercard' | 'visa', required: The card network of the network token.
  - `provider` 'scof' | 'vts', required: The network token provider
  - `agentKey` string, required: Uniquely identifies an Agent
  - `merchantKey` string, required: Uniquely identifies a merchant
  - `enrollmentKey` string, required: SCOF or VTS enrollment key
  - `lastTokenRefresh` string, date-time: The date and time this network token was last refreshed
  - `error` TokenError: The error when the network token request failed
    - `code` string, required
    - `detail` string, required
  - `created` string, date-time, required: The date and time this object was created
  - `lastModified` string, date-time: The date and time this object was last modified
  - `version` integer, required: The version of this object

## Other responses

- `201`: The newly created network token entity.
- `400`: The request was malformed. See the response body for details
- `401`: The supplied security credentials were missing or invalid
- `403`: The authenticated client is does not have the required permissions.
- `409`: The request could not be completed due to a conflict with the current state of the resources involved in the request.
- `422`: The server was unable to process the request. This is a temporary condition. Please retry the request.
- `429`: The number of requests per unit of time has exceeded the configured maximum
- `500`: The server encountered an unexpected condition. This may or may not be a temporary situation.
- `503`: The server was unable to process the request. This is a temporary condition. Please retry the request.
