# Archive Merchant

`DELETE /merchants/{merchantKey}`

## Request

This operation archives the specified Merchant.

Requires `merchants:Archive` permission.

## Path parameters

- `merchantKey` string, required: Uniquely identifies a Merchant

## Headers

- `If-Match` integer

## Response `204`

Merchant archived successfully

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication information is missing or invalid
- `403`: The authenticated client is forbidden to make the request for the resource identified.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found
- `412`: The conditions specified in the HTTP headers of the request were not met.
- `429`: The number of requests (per minute) has exceeded the configured maximum
