# Create Patient

`POST /public/v1/patients/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.silnahealth.com/api`

## Request body

- V1PatientCreate: Patient Create Request Schema
  - `first_name` string, required: Patient's first name
  - `last_name` string, required: Patient's last name
  - `date_of_birth` string, date, required: Patient's date of birth
  - `source_id` string, nullable: Patient's EHR ID (or other unique identifier) that you have in your system
  - `address_line_1` string, nullable: Patient's street address
  - `address_line_2` string, nullable: Patient's apartment, suite, unit, etc.
  - `city` string, nullable: Patient's city
  - `state` string, nullable: Patient's state
  - `zip_code` string, nullable: Patient's zip code. Empty strings are not allowed
  - `sex` 'MALE' | 'FEMALE'
  - `patient_specialties` PublicSpecialty[], required: Patient's specialties. A patient can have multiple
  - `status` 'INTAKE' | 'ACTIVE' | 'DISCHARGED' | 'ON_HOLD', required
  - `provider_service_location_id` string, uuid, required: Provider Service Location ID (where the patient receives service)
  - `provider_id` string, uuid, required
