# PUT /config/phy/modeID

`PUT /config/phy/modeID`

Configure the PHY layer of the FAN stack. FAN 1.1 alternative to /config/phy.

## Request body

- PhyConfigUsingModeID — The PHY configuration of a FAN device (using a mode ID).
  - `basePhyModeID` integer, required — The base operating mode which MUST be set to a PhyModeID value defined in section 5.2 of [PHYTPS].

## Response `200`

PHY successfully configured.
