# Update team invite status

`PATCH /v2/teams/{request_id}/request`

This endpoint allows API users to update the status of an invite to join a team. Works only for the invite requests with the `waiting` status.

## Request body

- object
  - `request_status` string, required: The updated status of the invite request. Possible values: `denied`, `declined`, `approved`.

## Response `200`

The invite status was updated.

- object
  - `result` string: Result of the request. Always `success`.

## Other responses

- `400`: * User declines the invite which is not in the `waiting` status. * User accepts/denies invite which isn't addressed to them. * Request ID doesn't exist. * User who updates the invite is a member of the organization with specific parameters.
