# Create organization

`POST /v2/organizations`

## Request

This endpoint allows API users to create an organization. The user who creates the organization becomes its admin.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: Name of the organization. Max length: 255 chars.

## Response `201`

Successful response. Returns the ID of the new organization.

- object
  - `id` string, required: ID of the new organization.

## Other responses

- `400`: * Wrong, expired, or missing token. * `name` is missing. * `name` isn't a string. * `name` is longer than `80` characters. * The user has reached the organization limit: `5` on a trial subscription, `50` on Professional or Enterprise.
- `403`: The user doesn't have an active trial, Professional, or Enterprise subscription.
