# Rename document group

`PUT /v2/document-groups/{document_group_id}`

This endpoint allows API users to rename a document group.

## Request body

- object
  - `group_name` string, required: New name of the document group. Max: `255` characters.

## Response `204`

The document group has been renamed. No content returned.

## Other responses

- `400`: * Wrong, expired, or missing token. * `group_name` is missing or empty. * `group_name` isn't a string. * `group_name` is longer than `255` characters.
- `403`: The document group belongs to another user.
- `404`: The document group doesn't exist.
