# Get metadata of doc group

`GET /v2/document-groups/{document_group_id}/metadata`

This endpoint allows API users to get metadata for a document group.

## Response `200`

Metadata of the document group. `data` is an empty array when the document group has no metadata.

- object
  - `data` object: Metadata of the document group.
    - `content` object: Metadata as key-value pairs.
    - `created` integer: Unix timestamp of when the metadata was added.
    - `updated` integer: Unix timestamp of the last update.
    - `application_id` string: ID of the application that added the metadata.

## Other responses

- `400`: Incorrect or missing token.
- `403`: * Request with bearer token from another user.
- `404`: * Request with `group_id` which does not exist. * Request with `group_id` which is a template.
