# Create contact group

`POST /v2/crm/groups`

## Request

This endpoint allows API users to create a group of CRM contacts.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: The new contact group name.

## Response `201`

The contact group was created.

- object
  - `data` object: The created contact group.
    - `id` string: ID of the created contact group.

## Other responses

- `400`: * Wrong, expired, or missing token. * The group name is missing or empty. * The group name is not a string. * The group name contains invalid characters. * The group name is too long.
- `405`: Method not allowed.
- `422`: Group name already exists.
