# Rename folder

`PUT /user/folder/{folder_id}`

This endpoint allows API users to rename a folder.

**Notes**

* The same operation is also available at `PUT /folder/{folder_id}`.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required: New name of the folder.

## Response `200`

The folder was renamed. Returns its ID.

- object
  - `id` string: ID of the renamed folder.

## Other responses

- `400`: * `name` is missing. * The folder does not exist or does not belong to the user.
