# Terminate access token

`POST /oauth2/terminate`

This endpoint allows API users to terminate the access token sent in the `Authorization` header. The token can no longer be used for Bearer authentication.

**Notes**

* To continue making requests, get a new access token.

## Response `204`

The access token has been revoked and can no longer be used. No content returned.

## Other responses

- `400`: - Incorrect or expired access token. - Token authentication is missing.
