# Prefill smart fields

`POST /document/{document_id}/integration/object/smartfields`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.signnow.com`

This endpoint allows API users to prefill smart fields in a document.

**Note:** names of smart fields are case-sensitive.

## Request body

- object
  - `data` object[], required
    - `field_name1` string
    - `field_name2` string
  - `client_timestamp` string, required

## Response `200`

The smart fields were prefilled.

- object
  - `status` string: Result of the request. Always `success`.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request.
