# Download document attachment

`GET /document/{document_id}/attachment/{attachment_id}/download`

This endpoint allows API users to download a file that a signer uploaded to an attachment field of the document.

**Notes**

* Get `attachment_id` from the `id` of an item in the `attachments` array returned by [Get document](/docs/document/operations/get-document).
* The file is returned as uploaded, with a `Content-Disposition: attachment` header that carries the original file name.

## Response `200`

The attached file. The content type matches the uploaded file, for example `image/jpeg` or `application/pdf`.
