# Delete event subscription (basic auth)

`DELETE /api/v2/events/{event_subscription_id}`

This endpoint allows API users to unsubscribe an external service (callback_url) from specific events of a user or document. This request uses Basic authorization. ## Response `204`

The event subscription was deleted. The response has no body.

## Other responses

- `403`: **For basic auth:** * The application ID in the request differs from the ID of the application that created the event subscription. **For bearer auth:** * The event subscription was created by another user.
- `404`: Value of "uniqueEventId" doesn't exist in database.
