# Record user consent

`POST /api/auth/user/consent`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Record the terms version accepted at signup and, if the user refused
marketing email, the opt-out. Idempotent; never clears an opt-out.

## Request body

- RecordUserConsentRequest
  - `terms_version` string, required
  - `marketing_opt_out` boolean, required

## Response `200`

  - `terms_accepted_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `terms_version` string, nullable
  - `marketing_opt_out_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `marketing_opt_out_source` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `422`: Validation Error
