# Check whether the mailer has suppressed an address

`POST /api/auth/email/suppression`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Asked by sign-up and the resend button before they email an address, so
one Postmark won't deliver to is refused up front. Not suppressed when the
mailer can't tell.

- AuthEmailSuppressionRequest
  - `to` string, email, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- AuthEmailSuppressionResponse
  - `suppressed` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Service token is missing the required scope
- `422`: Validation Error
- `503`: Service-token verification is not configured
