# Delete Subscriber

`DELETE /api/fabric/resources/subscribers/{id}`

Deletes a persistent [Subscriber](/docs/platform/subscribers) resource by ID. Use it when the user identity should no longer exist in the project; temporary Guest and Invite Tokens expire independently and are not deleted through this operation.

#### Permissions

The API token used to authenticate must have the following scope(s) enabled to make a successful request: _Voice_, _Messaging_, _Fax_, or _Video_.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required — Universal Unique Identifier.

## Response `204`

There is no content to send for this request, but the headers may be useful.

## Other responses

- `401` — Access is unauthorized.
- `404` — The server cannot find the requested resource.
- `500` — An internal server error occurred.
