# Get conversation metadata

`GET /internal/api/chat/conversations/{conversation_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.signalshq.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.signalshq.io/internal/api/chat/conversations/{conversation_id}`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Password
  - Token URL: `/auth/login`

Retrieve core conversation metadata (no messages or previews). Use /conversations for previews, /{id}/messages for full messages.

- `conversation_id` string, uuid, required: The conversation ID

- ConversationMetadataResponse: Response model for conversation metadata (same as single item from conversations list).
