# Bookmark or unbookmark a conversation

`POST /internal/api/chat/conversations/{conversation_id}/bookmark`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.signalshq.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.signalshq.io/internal/api/chat/conversations/{conversation_id}/bookmark`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Password
  - Token URL: `/auth/login`

Toggle bookmark status for a conversation. Users can bookmark important conversations for future reference or unbookmark previously bookmarked conversations.

## Path parameters

- `conversation_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ConversationBookmarkRequest: Request schema for bookmarking/unbookmarking a conversation.
  - `is_bookmarked` boolean, required: Whether to bookmark (True) or unbookmark (False) the conversation

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- ConversationBookmarkResponse: Response schema for conversation bookmark operation.
  - `status` string, required: Status of the bookmark operation
  - `conversation_id` string, uuid, required: ID of the bookmarked/unbookmarked conversation
  - `is_bookmarked` boolean, required: Current bookmark status of the conversation
