# Update one or more email-notification toggles

`PATCH /api/me/notification-prefs`

Partial update. Omitted fields stay at their current value. Empty body → 400.

## Request body

- NotificationPrefsPatch: Partial update. Pass only the toggles you want to change. Empty body returns 400.

  - `emailMentioned` boolean
  - `emailCommentedOnMyShare` boolean
  - `emailRoleChanged` boolean

- NotificationPrefs
  - `emailSharedWithMe` boolean, required: Email when a teammate shares a signal with you. Default: true.
  - `emailMentioned` boolean, required: Email when a teammate @-mentions you. Default: true.
  - `emailCommentedOnMyShare` boolean, required: Email when a teammate comments on a signal you shared (and you are not the commenter). Default: false.
  - `emailRoleChanged` boolean, required: Email when an admin changes your role. Default: true.
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required
