# Update Product

`POST /products/update`

Edit a product you own, or pause and resume it. Only the fields you send change.

Body: product_id plus any of name, description, value_prop, target_audience,
anchor_sentences (same rules as add_product), buy_signal_keywords,
competitor_keywords, active. active=false pauses the product: the scout stops
reading its stations and /signal/score no longer accepts its id until it is
resumed. Products are paused rather than deleted, because leads, missions and
prospects keep their history.
