# Details for one upcoming bill vote

`GET /upcoming-votes/items/{billId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.signal8.ai/api/v1/public`

- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Full detail for a single upcoming vote, looked up by bill ID
(e.g. `119-hr-3633` — use the `billKey` from the list endpoint, not a
stock ticker).

Returns the bill's affected sectors and verified tickers (each backed by
a quote from the actual bill text), the sponsor's disclosed STOCK Act
trades that match those tickers, key dates, and status history (e.g. a
"pulled" bill means leadership lost the votes).

Note: sponsor trades are public-record disclosures shown with both the
trade date and the disclosure date — they are not evidence of wrongdoing.
