# Trending politicians by trade surge

`GET /senate-insiders/discovery/politician-surge`

## Request

Ranks politicians by their 7-day trade-count surge relative to a 90-day
baseline, updated hourly. Each row reports
trades in the last 7 days, the 90-day baseline, the surge multiplier,
and top tickers. Cold-start politicians with under 90 days of history
are flagged `isNew=true` with a null multiplier and sorted first.
