# Get the dilution snapshot summary

`GET /dilution/{ticker}/snapshot`

The per-field-cited current-state dilution snapshot for a company,
extracted from its SEC filings: the aggregate summary block, cash
position, float, extraction metadata, coverage and provenance.

Instrument ROWS are deliberately NOT in this response — fetch them per
family from `/dilution/{ticker}/instruments`.

🔴 Every figure is on ONE split basis, stated in `meta`. A row the
pipeline could not rebase onto that basis is OMITTED and counted, never
emitted as-filed — so a total may be null where individual facts exist.
Null is "not measured".

🔴 A snapshot can be WITHHELD after extraction (a correctness finding on
a row, an unverifiable citation). When that happens the affected figures
are null with the withholding disclosed in `coverage`/`provenance` — the
endpoint does not fall back to an older or vendor-derived number.

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: Not enough credits for this request
- `403`: The API key's owner does not hold the per-user add-on this endpoint is sold under. 🔴 This is NOT a tier problem — a Pro subscription does not confer an add-on. Route the user to add-on purchase (`addonType` names which one), not to a plan upgrade. The distinct `ADDON_REQUIRED` code exists so the two flows can be told apart; treating it as `TIER_INSUFFICIENT` sends a paying customer to a page that cannot sell them what they were denied.
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
