# Accept a variable difference on a server

`POST /api/clusters/{clusterName}/servers/{serverName}/variables-accept`

Marks a variable difference as "accepted" (use config value) on a specified server within a cluster.

## Path parameters

- `clusterName` string, required
- `serverName` string, required

## Query parameters

- `variableName` string, required

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, required

## Response `200`

Variable accepted successfully

- string

## Other responses

- `400` — Variable name required
- `403` — No valid ACL
- `500` — Cluster Not Found" or "Server Not Found" or "Error accepting variable
