# Rejoin the diverged master with a chosen recovery method

Explicitly (re-)arms the rejoin using the operator-chosen method. Safe methods use /actions/rejoin (needs cluster-failover); destructive methods (ignore-delta-force, bootstrap-repli-ftwrl, reset-master-reslave) use /actions/unsafe-rejoin (needs cluster-failover + cluster-rejoin-unsafe). The method must match its verb.
