# Delete a saved view from a workbook

`DELETE /v2/workbooks/{workbookId}/bookmarks/{bookmarkId}`

Delete a saved view (formerly called a bookmark) from a workbook.

- Retrieve the **bookmarkId** by calling the [/v2/workbooks/{workbookId}/bookmarks](https://help.sigmacomputing.com/reference/get-workbook-bookmarks) endpoint.

### Usage scenarios
- **Cleanup:** Remove a saved view that is no longer needed.
