# Create Api Key

`POST /api/v1/account/api-keys`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://geo.sig.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://geo.sig.ai/api/v1/account/api-keys`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a new API key for programmatic access.

**IMPORTANT:** The secret key is only shown once. Save it securely!

## Cookies

- `access_token` string, nullable

## Request body

- CreateApiKeyRequest: Request to create a new API key.
  - `name` string, required: Friendly name for the API key
  - `scopes` string, nullable: Comma-separated scopes (optional)
  - `expires_at` string, date-time, nullable: Expiration date (optional)

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- ApiKeyCreatedResponse: Response after creating an API key (includes secret key ONCE).
  - `api_key` AppSchemasAccountApiKeyResponse, required: API key response (without the secret key).
    - `id` string, uuid, required
    - `name` string, required
    - `key_prefix` string, required
    - `scopes` string, nullable, required
    - `is_active` boolean, required
    - `last_used_at` string, date-time, nullable, required
    - `expires_at` string, date-time, nullable, required
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `secret_key` string, required: Full API key - save this! It won't be shown again
