# Convert between forex and crypto at live rates

`GET /v1/convert/{from}/{to}`

## Request

Converts an amount between any supported forex or crypto symbols at the current mid-market rate. Converting an asset to itself returns rate 1.

## Path parameters

- `from` string, required
- `to` string, required

## Query parameters

- `amount` number

## Response `200`

Converted amount and the rate applied.

- ConvertResult
  - `from` string: Echo of the source symbol.
  - `to` string: Echo of the target symbol.
  - `amount` number: Amount sent in.
  - `rate` number: Rate applied; amount × rate = result.
  - `result` number: Converted amount.
  - `t` integer: Timestamp of the underlying market rate (Unix epoch ms).

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Resource not found.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded.
