# Get slab

`GET /bus/slab/{key}`

Returns information about a specific slab.

## Path parameters

- `key` string, required — A key used to encrypt and decrypt data. The key is either a regular key (key) or a salted key (skey). The latter requires a seed to be used for encryption and decryption.

## Response `200`

Successfully retrieved slab

- Slab — A slab of data to migrate
  - `health` number, float
  - `encryptionKey` string — The encryption key used to encrypt the slab's shards
  - `minShards` integer — The number of data shards the slab is split into

## Other responses

- `404` — Slab not found
- `500` — Internal server error
