# Delete host sector

`DELETE /bus/sectors/{hostkey}/{root}`

Marks a sector as lost for a specific host.

## Path parameters

- `hostkey` string, required — A ed25519 public key
- `root` string, required — A 256-bit blake2b hash

## Response `200`

Successfully marked sector as lost

## Other responses

- `500` — Internal server error
