# Set Clip Creator

`PUT /v1/clip-studio/clips/{clip_id}/creator`

Who made this clip — a fact about the video, not about its timeline.

Its own route for the same reason review has one: it carries no segments,
it must not collide with a card someone else is mid-drag on, and folding it
into the save would mean every tag write had to restate the credit or drop
it. So no version bump and no version check.

It does touch ``ssSavedBy`` and ``ssUpdatedAt``, unlike review — crediting a
creator IS a change to what the feed serves, so the card should say who
changed it and when.

## Path parameters

- `clip_id` string, required

## Request body

- CreatorRequest — Credit a clip to a creator, or clear it with ``creatorId: null``. The client sends the id it got back from the lookup, never a raw handle — so the feed can never carry a credit that was not resolved against the customer's own records.
  - `creatorId` string, nullable
  - `creatorUsername` string, nullable

## Response `200`
