# Draft video from script

`POST /videos/drafts/script`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shortgenius.com/v1`

Write a video using the provided script. After calling this endpoint, call [Create Video](#tag/videos/POST/videos) with the results to create the video.

## Request body

- object
  - `script` string, required: The content you want the AI to narrate. It will split it up into logical scenes, and illustrate each scene.

  - `title` string, required: The title of the video.
  - `caption` string, required: The description shown beside the video when posted to social media.
  - `scenes` DraftScene[], required
    - `title` string, nullable: If a news video, the headline for the story. Otherwise, blank.
    - `caption` string, required: The text narrated during the scene.
    - `image_query` string, nullable: The query for images search.
    - `first_image_description` string, nullable: The prompt for the first AI generated image.
    - `second_image_description` string, nullable: The prompt for the second AI generated image.
    - `first_image_animation_model` 'None' | 'Seedance' | 'Kling' | 'Hailuo02Standard' | 'Hailuo02Pro' | 'Veo3' | 'SeedanceTTV': Animation model for the first image.
    - `second_image_animation_model` 'None' | 'Seedance' | 'Kling' | 'Hailuo02Standard' | 'Hailuo02Pro' | 'Veo3' | 'SeedanceTTV': Animation model for the second image.
  - `image_style_recommendations` object[]: AI-generated image style recommendations for the video.
    - `preset_id` string, uuid, required: ID of the recommended image style preset.
    - `reason` string, required: Reason why this style is recommended for the video.
  - `selected_image_style_preset_id` string, uuid: ID of the currently selected image style preset.
