# List Models

`GET /api/spreadsheets/models`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shortcut.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.shortcut.ai/api/spreadsheets/models`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `shortcut_access_token`
  - HTTP bearer

List the curated standard, ungated model catalog and the caller's actual spreadsheet submission default. This is not every accepted runtime model: administrator-added, gated, experimental, and custom models are excluded for all callers. Product picker preferences (including APAC) do not change this Platform API catalog. The caller's organization model availability policy removes model families it turned off; when it turns off the standard submission default's family, the organization's effective default (its default model when available, otherwise the product default, otherwise the first available model) becomes the submission default. Pass a returned `id` as `model` in `POST /api/spreadsheets`. Supported thinking levels are not included; the submit schema documents accepted thinking values.

    - `name` string, required: Human-readable model name
    - `description` string, required: What the model is best suited for
    - `default` boolean, required: Whether this caller's jobs use this model when `model` is omitted (the organization's effective default when its model availability policy turns off the standard default's family)
