# Create DNS records

`POST /domains/dnsRecord`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.short.io`
- URL: `https://api.short.io/domains/dnsRecord`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Creates one or more DNS records for a domain registered through Short.io.

## Request body

- object
  - `hostname` string, fqdn, required: Domain hostname
  - `records` object[], required: DNS records to create
    - `name` string, required: DNS record name
    - `type` 'MX' | 'TXT', required: DNS record type
    - `value` string, required: DNS record value
    - `ttl` integer, required: DNS record TTL in seconds
