# Move an app into this organization.

`POST /organizations/{organizationId}/apps`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shorebird.dev/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.shorebird.dev/api/v1/organizations/{organizationId}/apps`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Transfers the app named in the body from the organization it is in
now to the organization in the path. Requires the
`organizationApps.transfer` permission, which the `admin` and
`owner` roles hold, in both organizations.

## Request body

- TransferOrganizationAppRequest: The request body for POST /organizations/{organizationId}/apps.
  - `app_id` string, required: The ID of the app to move into the organization.

## Response `204`

The app was moved.

## Other responses

- `400`: The organization id is not an integer (`organization_id_malformed`), or the body could not be parsed (`organization_transfer_app_error`).
- `403`: The caller lacks `organizationApps.transfer` in this organization or in the app's current one.
- `404`: No such organization, or the caller is not a member of it (`organization_membership_guard_error`).
- `424`: Looking up the app's current organization, or moving it, failed (`organization_transfer_app_error`). An app id that does not exist is reported this way too.
- `default`: Standard error response. Emitted for any non-2xx status where a body can be decoded into an [ErrorResponse].
