# Decline an invitation sent to the signed-in user.

`POST /invitations/{invitationId}/decline`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shorebird.dev/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.shorebird.dev/api/v1/invitations/{invitationId}/decline`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

## Response `204`

The invitation was declined.

## Other responses

- `403`: The invitation was sent to a different email address.
- `404`: No such invitation.
- `410`: The invitation was already accepted, declined, revoked, or has expired.
- `default`: Standard error response. Emitted for any non-2xx status where a body can be decoded into an [ErrorResponse].
