# Add a member of the enterprise to one of its organizations.

`POST /enterprises/{enterpriseId}/organizations/{organizationId}/members`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shorebird.dev/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.shorebird.dev/api/v1/enterprises/{enterpriseId}/organizations/{organizationId}/members`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Adds them at once, with no invitation to accept, and emails them to
say so. Only people in the enterprise's directory can be added:
anyone else, a guest or a removed member included, is a `404`
(`enterprise_member_not_found`), and someone already in the
organization a `409` (`enterprise_organization_member_exists`). The
owner role is not grantable here (`403`), and a role the
organization's plan does not offer is a `403`
(`shorebird_plan_insufficient_tier`). Admins only.

The member, as added.

  - `user` PublicUser, required: A Shorebird user with non-sensitive information only.
    - `id` integer, required: The user's unique identifier.
    - `email` string, email, required: The user's email address.
    - `display_name` string: The user's name.
  - `role` 'owner' | 'admin' | 'appManager' | 'developer' | 'viewer' | 'auditor' | 'scim' | 'none', required: A role that a user can have relative to an Organization or App.

## Other responses

- `default`: Standard error response. Emitted for any non-2xx status where a body can be decoded into an [ErrorResponse].
