# Revoke a pending invitation to the app.

`DELETE /apps/{appId}/invitations/{invitationId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shorebird.dev/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.shorebird.dev/api/v1/apps/{appId}/invitations/{invitationId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Revokes an invitation so it can no longer be accepted. An
invitation that has passed its expiry but not been replaced can
still be revoked. Requires the `invitations.revoke` permission.

## Response `204`

The invitation was revoked.

## Other responses

- `403`: The caller lacks the `invitations.revoke` permission.
- `404`: The app does not exist (`app_not_found`), or there is no such invitation to this app; an `invitationId` that is not a UUID is also a `404` (`app_invitation_not_found`).
- `409`: The invitation was already accepted, declined, revoked, or marked expired (`app_invitation_revoke_error`).
- `default`: Standard error response. Emitted for any non-2xx status where a body can be decoded into an [ErrorResponse].
