# Get agreement document

`GET /v0/agreements/documents/{documentId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://test-api.shodai.network`
- URL: `https://test-api.shodai.network/v0/agreements/documents/{documentId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Returns the rendered prose document associated with an agreement documentId. Access requires the same authorization as reading the agreement record.

Rendered agreement prose document.

    - `displayName` string, required: Human-readable agreement label.
    - `contentType` string, required: MIME type for the rendered prose content.
    - `content` string, required: Rendered agreement prose with stored variable values applied.
    - `docHash` string: On-chain document hash, when available.
    - `updatedAt` string, date-time: Agreement record update timestamp.

    - `requestId` string, required: Correlation ID for support and debugging.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API credential.
- `402`: The authenticated Shodai account has paid_required entitlement mode for the requested scope. Per-call x402 settlement is not implemented. Treat this as an entitlement/operator issue.
- `403`: Not authorized to access this agreement document.
- `404`: Agreement document not found.
