# Pace a Loop Without a Scheduler (durable timer) ($0.002/call)

`POST /cron`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://x402.shizu.me`
- URL: `https://x402.shizu.me/cron`
- Auth: none declared

Answer 'is it time yet?' across stateless runs. POST {interval_seconds, count} starts a durable timer; each GET ?id= returns how many ticks elapsed since your last poll (computed on read — nothing runs in the background). Pace a polling loop, space out retries, throttle a recurring job off our clock — for agents that can't sleep or schedule their own future wake.

Paid endpoint: $0.002 per call via the x402 protocol (USDC on Base). An unpaid request returns 402 with payment requirements in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED response header; attach payment and retry.

## Response `200`

Paid result (JSON)

## Other responses

- `402`: Payment required — x402 requirements in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED response header
