# List banks by country

`GET /schemas/banks`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shinkansen.finance/v1`
- URL: `https://api.shinkansen.finance/v1/schemas/banks`
- Auth: API key in header `Shinkansen-Api-Key`

List all banks and financial institutions on Shinkansen's own database — filtered by Country or Schema.

## Response `200`

A list of banks.

  - `clcmf_code` string: The local code for the bank. Only available for Chile. The property doesn't appear for other countries.
  - `pecci_code` string: The local code for the bank. Only available for Peru. The property doesn't appear for other countries.
  - `mxspei_code` string: The local code for the bank. Only available for Mexico. The property doesn't appear for other countries.
  - `cocomp_code` string: The local code for the bank. Only available for Colombia. The property doesn't appear for other countries.
  - `fin_id` string: The Fin ID for the bank.

## Other responses

- `400`: One of Country or Schema is required.
