# List holidays by country

`GET /holidays`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.shinkansen.finance/v1`
- URL: `https://api.shinkansen.finance/v1/holidays`
- Auth: API key in header `Shinkansen-Api-Key`

Returns a list of bank holidays for the specified country and/or year. Each holiday includes the timezone of the country.

## Response `200`

A list of holidays

- object
  - `holidays` object[]
    - `date` string, date: The date of the holiday in ISO 8601 format.
    - `country_code` string: The two-letter country code.
    - `name` string: The name of the holiday.
    - `timezone` string: The IANA timezone for the country where the holiday applies.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid params
- `403`: Forbidden (e.g: wrong API Key)
